Winchester based Blue Apple are a company that supports performers with learning difficulties to develop multi art form performances.

This version of Wizard of Oz had been written especially for the cast by director Richard Conlon, and tells the tale of this well known tale from a different perspective.

Samuel Morley, Lighting Designer, approached TSL to supply his design for Wizard of Oz performed by Blue Apple Theatre at the QEII theatre in Winchester. He utilised a rig of the ever popular Martin Viper Performance, Martin Aura XB and Martin Rush Pars to great effect.

TSL also supplied Coemar Full Spectrum Ledkos as a mainstay in the rig, together with a full cable and data package. As usual for every hire of Ledkos, TSL donated to Backup (the technical entertainment charity). Control was via an Eos desk.

The show was performed on the 7th and 8th April to great reviews.

The staff and board of Blue Apple Theatre would like to thank the families and supporters of their performers, as well as the many volunteers who give their time freely and enthusiastically to support all of their shows.
