Fashion show Burberry Summer 2025

TSL is a fashion first in London

TSL took to the runway once again, delivering flawless show support for London Fashion Week this September.

From the warehouse to the catwalk, our teams delivered seamless lighting, rigging and power distribution for high-profile events and leading labels.

For many years, TSL has been the go-to company for supplying lighting and rigging to the fashion industry. Each fashion week gets busier and busier for us, showing how in-demand we are for this market.

With the warehouse team meticulously prepping every detail, from equipment prep and patching of fixtures to the precise labelling and colour-coding of cables and nodes, and the on-site teams comprising some of the UK’s finest production and event technicians, TSL once again rose to the challenge of a demanding fashion week schedule.

For a second year running, we supported our client, Bureau Betak, in delivering a complex and unique lighting design for lighting gurus Renegade, on behalf of the fashion brand, Burberry.

After a successful catwalk, Bureau Betak said: “We truly appreciated the preparation phase we shared, and the way each of you invested yourselves with such great spirits – always coming forward with constructive suggestions that made everyone’s work easier.

A show of this scale and with these constraints simply cannot succeed without precise, rigorous teamwork. Supplying equipment is one thing; but as we all know, it only comes to life when the people behind it install and operate it flawlessly. You did just that, adapting and contributing ideas to help bring Bureau Betak’s creative concept to reality – and for that, we are deeply grateful.”

The design for this project required Arri Skypanels to be suspended on the truss in a unique formation, where the fixtures had to sit tightly on all four sides of the totem.

After extensive test-runs at the TSL warehouse in Basingstoke, each truss required bespoke spacers which were made in house using custom 3D printing.

We also had the pleasure of assisting Lighting Designer, Petter Skramstad, with transforming the #NEWGEN space at 180 The Strand for Blonstein Productions with both lighting and rigging. The core lighting rig was based around the innovative Ayrton Rivale, used to sculpt and define the catwalk across shows and presentations for a range of up and coming fashion designers.

The lighting and rigging package was designed to be flexible and capable of adapting to the needs of every designer exhibiting in the space.

Kennedy London called on TSL to bring their event H&M&180: The London Issue, to life at the iconic 180 Strand, We delivered a massive, high-impact lighting system across the monolithic catwalk and cavernous underground spaces, featuring close to 100 Robe iForte fixtures alongside more than 400 SGM P6 and Q8 units.

Working with our client FAMILY, the Malone Souliers presentation was staged at the iconic Brutalist landmark, Space House in Covent Garden. Lighting Designer Petter Skramstad once again delivered a discreet, elegant design, seamlessly integrating the technical equipment while remaining fully sympathetic to the venue’s aesthetic and atmosphere.

Our Account Managers have extensive knowledge of not only the fashion industry needs, but venues around London and the rest of the UK. This allows our team to tailor the packages to the specific needs of each client and Lighting Designer, maintaining their vision and requirements.

Another exciting but challenging job that TSL helped achieve was for Palace Lighting Design supporting Roksanda.

George Hill, Lighting Designer and Creative Director at Palace Lighting Design, turned to TSL to assist with creating a unique truss support structure for this event.

TSL facilitated the team in practicing the rigging design, which involved vertical truss totems with ETC Source 4s.

Our experienced team carried out multiple test-builds, rigging the fixtures to the scaffolding that ran behind the truss, and outrigging them from above to maintain the all-important balance of functionality and aesthetics. Before heading to site, we worked through several prototypes and variations with George to ensure his brief was met precisely.
