TSL Offices Join #LightItInRed

As part of PLASA’s #WeMakeEvents campaign to raise awareness of the event industry supply chain during the Coronavirus Pandemic, TSL joined the #LightItInRed movement on July 6th.

Using the above hashtag, the campaign aimed to see as many buildings as possible up and down the UK lit in red to symbolise the industry now being on ‘red alert’. Although we welcome the news surrounding the £1.57Bn support package for the arts, it is vitally important that we recognise the rest of the ecosystem involved in the events industry and how they are unlikely to benefit from this.

Both of TSLs offices were lit in red by members of the TSL team, socially distancing and working safely under our new Covid Secure working practices. The large façade of our Basingstoke Office provided a perfect backdrop, with our new SGM P6 LED floods washing the entire building red and our Martin Mac Vipers providing some textures in the form of Gobo Breakups. Staff from all departments were involved, with company directors unable to resist the urge to focus some Source 4 Zooms onto our TSL sign!

Over at Gatwick, a similar story was being told. SGM P6s washed the office in a vibrant red with Mac Aura XBs units uplighting the TSL Trailer. One of our Mac Viper units illuminated the TSL sign at this site via the use of it’s precise framing shutters. Control at both sites was provided by a pair of our GrandMA3 Full-Size consoles.

Staff from TSL also assisted by lighting the headquarters of Industry Organisation PLASA and Event Production Agency, Identity events, both in Eastbourne
