New equipment helps TSL deliver better customer experience

This year TSL has invested further in equipment with our 'full service' clients in mind in order to meet demand in all areas of our business.

Adaptability is one of our unique selling points and we are constantly working with our clients to ensure the specification or creative brief is met in time and within budget.

The following items are new to our inventory or have had their stock increased dramatically:

Worship Central on tour

Thanks to all who came and saw us on the Worship Central tour.

TSL supplied 12 GLP 120rz impressions, 8 Sunstrips, MA2 lite, floor cans, Ikea lampshades, dimming / distro / haze for the 2 week tour around the UK and Paris. Sam Tamplin LD commented "I have had great feedback so far. The Ikea lampshades which were originally specificed to help create a 'lounge' feel during the acoustic set looked great. This was the first tour I have used the MA2 properly and I fell in love with it, I now have the confidence to use this as my primary desk."

Space was tight as we only had the trailer and a bay in the bus for all the production gear. TSL created a package of 9 cases in including the desk and hazer, we used our 'standard 12u rack' case design to house the dimmer, distro and buffer which was all pre wired ready to take the 9 looms feeding the 8 tank traps and floor GLPs..

The tour went to Southampton, Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, Brighton, Paris, Peterborough, Newcastle and Swansea.

Work Experience Pixel Map Project

TSL is increasingly working with schools across Sussex taking work experience placements over the Spring and Summer.

In March student John Piper from Hastings came and spent a week with us to observe and help out where he could with prep / de prep and maintenance.

We try and give each student a project to take on during the week which is aimed at teaching basic rigging, DMX and control equipment. This week was an advanced pixel map project using our Chromabanks LED Battens and Hippotizer Media Server.
